Lotus Traveler 8.5.1 最主要是支援iPhone 透過Direct Push 支援Push Mail , Contact 及Calendar , 那麼iPhone 又如何使用Lotus Traveler ?

1. 在iphone 的Safari 輸入網址 :

http://<Server>/servlet/traveler

例如 :  http://www.garyau.com/servlet/traveler

再登入使用者的Internet Login 及密碼

你會見到使用者資料的網頁, 按 'Configure your iphone/ipod touch'

確定電郵(Internet E-mail address) 無錯, 再按Generate

Profile 載入後, 按install

雖則Profile 不能Vertify (因無SSL) , 按Install Now

再輸入一次Internet password

完成設定

現在已經完成設定,E-mail , contact 及 Calendar 會自動下載


警告: 所有iphone 的Contact 及Calendar 會被刪除, 事前請備份資料

傳說palm 會係下星期一(年初二)　會有webOS 1.4 update , 不過應該只會係sprinit　的palm pre 出現.....

 

更新內容,　包括

  • 相機錄影片
  • phonebook sync 會改變 會有import / export
  • Calendar 及SMS (messaging) 會改良
  • 有flash player ...

最近都好忙,　原來lotus traveler在webos 1.3.5 不見了電郵的body , 只見header (標題)　,　上網找了資料,　改了URL redirection , 但係連calendar 及contact 都sync 不到　....　仲見到　lotus traveler 8.5.1.1 Cummulative fix 1 在fix central 推出了,　palm forum 有人話解決了問題,　但係我升級了還未解決　....　真係唔知搞乜鬼　....

不過我覺得係個lotus traveler夾web site document出問題的機會大點...

現在還在找方法解決　....

解決了。。。。同lotus traveler 無關。。。原來係upgrade domino 8.5.1 時出問題，　所有policy 都無sign , 要delete 左再整過.....

lotus traveler 8.5.1.1 cumulative fix patch 1 係3 feb 出左啦。。。

LO47693 - Some internet e-mail does not contain a body when synced to the device.
LO47897 - User unable to sync when primary mail server is down.
LO48022 - Apple device stops syncing after a period of time.
LO48141 - Server crashes with "Out of Memory" or "Insufficient Resources" message.
LO48318 - Server crashes with "Panic: Lookup handle out of range" message.

終於解決了電郵不見了內容的問題.......

我自己測試過無問題的組合:

Lotus Traveler 8.5.1.1 CF1 (8.5.1.1 最重要係可以在Palm Pre 修改Calendar 的資料)

Lotus Domino 8.5.1

WebOS 1.3.5.2 (又變回做EU ROM ... palm 的資料無話解決這問題，但係據了解係這個版本解決的)

設定Palm Pre 及Lotus traveler 的連線 ...
